EnerLeads Helps Traders Identify Potential Free Consumers


TR Soluções' new web service enables identification of company groups with migration potential

Who are the potential free consumers? Where are they? How do they use energy? To help traders answer these and other questions and identify new clients, TR Soluções is launching EnerLeads. This is a web service for selecting groups of potentially free companies based on references to business activities observed in the Free Contracting Environment (ACL).

"EnerLeads was designed based on the lookalike concept. In digital marketing, a lookalike audience or audience extension consists of people more likely to buy your products because they resemble your most representative audience," explains TR Soluções' managing partner, Paulo Steele. As a result of the purchase, the client gets information such as CNPJ, CNAE, corporate name, trade name, address, and phone number for the companies of interest.

To do this, the system cross-references free-consumer information the Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE) provides monthly with the Federal Revenue Service's most recent public database, to identify similar companies that haven't yet migrated to the ACL. Among the roughly 20 million active CNPJs in the Federal Revenue Service's database, EnerLeads identified about 90,000 consumer units that, in TR Soluções' assessment, are potentially eligible for ACL migration, whether through joint ownership or not.

Potentially free companies can be filtered by distribution company or municipality. The selection also includes reference information on companies that have already migrated to the ACL, such as monthly consumption evolution (MWh); percentage consumption variation over a given period (MWh); location, number, and evolution of connections; average demand (kW); and percentage of energy consumption over the period relative to various groups the lead belongs to.
